In today’s issue of Center Stage, we take a look at rock group Bedlam, hailing from Cheyenne, WY. Even though they only have a few songs available for listening, I think this band has an excellent vibe about themselves that reflects well in their music. Bedlam has the ability to play soft easy going tempos (as evident in “Don’t Let It Fade”), or they can push it (“Earthbound”). I found myself nodding my head to “Under the Moon”. The lead singer has passion in his voice that, sadly, a lot of bands today are missing. They label themselves as rock, but I hear more grunge in them than anything. A couple songs have a Pearl Jam feeling to them, which is one of my favorite bands, so that’s always an advantage. I look forwarding to hear more from this band in the near future.
