Philadelphia Rockers News Update!

It’s time to head down to Philly and check in with some participants of last year’s Philadelphia Rockers compilation CD! Here is all the latest news happening from them right now:

Sinners Saints are set to take part in a string of concert dates in and around the greater Philadelphia area that will give local area concertgoers something to look forward to in the coming months! Below is the full itinerary of dates available:

The Atomic Square has just been nominated for local radio station WSTW’s Hometown Hero “Homey” Awards! This is a great achievement for the band and will certainly gain the band some notice in their hometown as well. To cast your vote for the band, simply go over to this link:

Fast Car have just a single show coming up in a couple of weeks, so if you’re in the area and looking for something to do, stop on by and check out to see what’s happening in the local music venues around the area. This show will take place on 2/5/2012 at World Cafe Live in downtown Philly. Mark this date on your calendar as it’s quickly approaching.

The Parsnip Revolt are currently hard at work in the studio working on some new material for their next release. It’s currently in the pre-production phase and we’ll keep you updated once we know the name of the record and when we can expect it to be released. They are also nominated for a WSTW “Homey” Award so click here to cast your vote for them as well in the contest!

Honey Spot Blvd. have a few shows forthcoming that you might want to take notice of. The band will be looking to expand its fanbase a little and get some word of mouth out for the band as well. Here are the band’s upcoming dates as follows:

SPIN have just a single show on the horizon that is a great opportunity for local area fans to get an idea of the bands from their hometown and see what they’re like from a live perspective. This show will happen on 1/29/2012 at Crocodile Rock in Allentown, PA. Grab your tickets for this show now as it’s only a few days away!

Tippy and the Shy Guys have a brand new song out titled “Song Au” that is welcome news for fans of the band and for people who are just looking for the newest and cutting edge music out there. The band formerly known as The New Bolsheviks now has a new name! They are now Ghosts on TV and will be playing a show for some concertgoers on 3/11/2012 at The Note in West Chester, PA. Check them out if you live in the area and see what they bring to the table.

The Great Socio have a show coming up of note that will present concertgoers with an opportunity to discover local bands that haven’t heard before and see what they have to offer. This show will happen on 4/13/2012 at The Grape Room in downtown Philly. Keep this date in mind as it’s still a couple of months away.

Even The Slept are currently hard at work on their brand new EP. The band just started tracking vocals for the effort and the band say the effort is coming along pretty smoothly. We’ll keep you updated with further updates on this as soon as we get them in.
